As a Creative Director of one of Australia’s most successful creative agencies, Clemenger BBDO (Melbourne), Sarah Hatherley wrote a string of award winning television commercials and print ads. She was a judge on local and international advertising award panels. And Vice-President of the MADC.
In the early days, Sarah worked with Australia’s best TV commercial directors before she started directing big brand television commercials herself, backed by clients for whom she delivered stunning results.

It was this exposure to hundreds of productions that ignited Hatherley's passion for filmmaking.
She left the industry to establish her film company, La Vérité Films, where Sarah has crafted internationally recognised shorts and high end proof of concept for her first feature.
Having flagged a return to TVC directing in 2021, this wealth of experience and new skills is attracting strong interest from agencies and prod companies.
